Warning: Remove all the patch that you previously used.(delete all those file and replace them with new one.



Instruction

1) Make sure the root folder is clear( I mean no previous patches should be there. if there then remove all of them)
2) Copy all the files from IPL Patch For Bwtorrents to the root folder. (x:Program files/ea sports cricket/ea sports cricket 07)
3) copy two folders from IPL roster and paste it in the documents folder. ( c:program files/documents and setting/username/my documets/EA sports(TM) cricket 07.)
4) copy the tournament folder from the tournament folder to the same folder. ( c:program files/documents and setting/username/my documets/EA sports(TM) cricket 07.)
5) run the game go to my cricket -> load -> roster and load the roster.

This better version has a bit of problem.

In the beginning, there is an error message which is "Missing string 13".

Plus, in this patch, the creator has resolved the problem of dress ( Eg, Punjab is no more canada, it shows "Spice logo" and Punjab on it) but the names are wrong in it. I tried it yesterday itself. And btw, this updated version was released yesterday only.

I thought they came out with a new game

This is the screenshot of "Missing string 13" . But that's OK coz the game still loads.



The problem is when the players come down to the field, the names are all wrong.

The older version of patch is the best and if you customize that patch and install only selected files that are required to correct the dress problem in the older version, you are all set. You can also install, the set max patch as well. That gives a real time feel to it.

No dude, it DOES NOT work. You copy 1 time or 100 times, it's the same.

Anyways, I got it to work. I went to the planetcricket forum, downloaded the updated patch from there. From that patch, I just copied the following patches

IPL stadium update - This gives me all the Indian IPL staidums.
kits @ IPL updated version - This gives me all the actual IPL team kits.
set max overlay - Set max logo.

This solves all the problem. Now, I have all the correct teams with the correct names. Also, the dresses are fixed as well coz of the 2nd patch I listed above.

If you notice carefully, in the older patch Delhi Daredevils have a blue dress, now it's corrected to Red dress. Also, in older version, Punjab is labeled as Canada, now it's Kings 11 punjab only. Also, the names are correct now.

With the update you have provided, it screws up the country name and player names. I don't care you trust me or not, if it works for you, good for you. Also, I didn't load the new roster file, I am playing with the old roster, profile and tournament file and it works awesome. All you need is just those three updates from the link I provided in my previous posts. If you want the IPL menu, then all you need to do is replace the tournament file in the documents and keep the old roster and profile. It should work, hell that works.

If you unrar those files, you'll get 8-9 folders, out of those are the three folders I listed above. Just copy the FSH and BIG files from them into the EA Sports(program files) folder with all the files from the older patch. That is it!
